Advocacy

EC Velo advocates for safer streets through hosting an annual Ride For Silence event, sponsoring our youth MTB team,, and supporting educational initiatives through Winterville's 2023-2025 Safe Routes to School program.

Additionally, many other organizations, from local nonprofits to statewide advocacy organization are working to fund and build bike infrastructure, make streets safer, raise street-savy kids, and keep our greenways clean in North Carolina. Here is a small selection of a few of them!
